Velnias signs with God is Myth Records + upcoming shows
God is Myth Records has signed a deal with Illinois based blackened doom outfit VELNIAS to release their debut album. The bands music can be best described as a combination of sorrowful black metal with a very doomy atmosphere, combined with elements of folk. Although the band definately has their own sound, one could easily give comparisons to bands like OPETH, AGALLOCH, PRIMORDIAL & WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM. No release date has been set yet as the band are currently working on the final mixes and then it will be sent to the God is Myth Records combine for final mastering. In the meantime check out the VELNIAS myspace page for a few samples of tracks that will appear on the cd.
